Khabar Agency, the Kazakh national broadcaster, have confirmed that they will not be participating at the 2023 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Nice.
Daniyar Tussupbekov, Khabar’s Director of International Cooperation and Distribution, had the following to say:
“I am sorry to inform that this year the Khabar Agency will not participate. Therefore, Kazakhstan will not appear on the list of participants, in fact, it is very sad to inform about this decision.
However, I am very interested in broadcasting the Grand Final, so that the audience and fans in Kazakhstan can have the opportunity to witness the show live.”
