RTVS, the Slovakian nation broadcaster, has revealed a return at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest could still be possible.
Several media outlets have revealed this month that Slovakia would not be returning to the Contest next year, however this is yet to be the case. The final decision will be made in August, once the election of the RTVS Director General has taken place.
Slovakia last appeared at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, in Baku, Azerbaijan. Max Jason Mai finished last in the second Semi Final, with “Don’t Close Your Eyes”.
