
ČT, the Czech national broadcaster, has confirmed that they will not be debuting at the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Yerevan, Armenia.
Ahmad Alloun, Press Officer for ČT, had the following to say:
“Since I have been contacted by the media in recent weeks… I am sorry to inform you that the Czech Republic will not debut in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest which will take place in Yerevan.
We wish the best of luck to the host broadcaster AMPTV, David Tserunyan and Anush Ter-Ghukasyan in this great project that we are sure will be a fantastic show, as well as to all the participating delegations.”
ČT have yet to show any interest in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest and have not broadcast a single edition of the Contest yet.
