Melodifestivalen 2022 continues tonight!!! We are here with Heat 2 coverage this evening, with the show coming from the Avicii Arena. The second set of seven acts from twenty eight will take part tonight.

Nu kör vi!!! Oscar Zia joins us. Farah Abadi appears to be a Green Room host and introduces tonight’s line-up. Oscar then goes through the voting details.

LIAMOO – Bluffin

LIAMOO is in black. Lighting is mainly purple. It’s a dance track and a feel good tune,

Niello & Lisa Ajax – Tror du att jag bryr mig

Lisa is back! Sorry Niello, but rap isn’t Eurovision. Lisa’s injection of pop isn’t enough.

Samira Manners – I Want To Be Loved

Samira is sat her guitar, joined by three other musicians. Sounds more British than Swedish. Very good connectivity. Under dressed for a powerful performance.

Alvaro Estella – Suave

Alvaro joined Mendez two year’s ago. Alvaro is in white and black. It sounds like a carnival number. A lot of fire joins Alvaro and his four backing dancers.

Browsing Collection – Face in the Crowd

This is no ordinary girl group – think the female Maneskin. The odd scream is mixed in with some pop.

John Lundvik – Änglavakt

John is no stranger to the Melodifestivalen or Eurovision stage – but a Swedish language entry is a first for him. He is dressed in beige. The stage is quite darkly lit. He is alone. When did a Swedish entry last make a Eurovision stage?

Tone Sekelius – My Way

Tone is dressed in a full gold dress, joined by contenmporary dancers. She soon’s reveals a black dress and is joined by musicians on stage. A lively last competing song.

The first round of voting is ongoing with the first of tonight’s recaps.

Oscar Zia is now giving us a song after a monologue. The song is in the tune of Eva & Ewa’s “Rena rama ding dong”. Round one of voting has closed.

The first song direct to the final is: LIAMOO – “Bluffin”

The second round of voting is open with another recap of the songs.

Eva is back with Oscar for a multi-lingual performance of “All That Jazz”.

We have got a historical throwback with some puppets/muppets.

The new results process is finally been presented after last week’s App issues.
