According to The Sun, the Semi Finals of the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest will be returning to BBC Three, after it returned as a linear television channel on Tuesday. BBC Three broadcasted the Semi Finals since their introduction in 2004 and ended in 2016. BBC Four took over the broadcasts in 2017 when BBC Three went online.
Furthermore, it has been announced that Scott Mills and Rylan Clark will be returning as commentators. Following the news, Rylan Clark had the following to say:
“I’m so excited to be back for Eurovision 2022 and even more excited to be heading to BBC Three. Myself and Scott love the show, and after a few years away from the physical Eurovision bubble we both can’t wait to bring you ALL the semi-final action live.”
