
On the lead up to the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which is been held in Paris, we are looking back at all the countries to have participated in the Contest and their histories – past and present. Today we continue with Kazakhstan’s story.
Kazakhstan debuted at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Minsk, Belarus. Daneliya Tuleshova participated with “Ózińe sen”, finishing in 6th place and 171 points.
Yerzhan Maxim represented Kazakhstan at the 2019 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Gliwice, Poland. He participated with “Armanyńnan qalma”, finishing in 2nd place (their best position) and 227 points.
Karakat Bashanova represented Kazakhstan at the 2020 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Warsaw, Poland. She participated with “Forever”, finishing in 2nd place (their best position) and 152 points.
Can Alinur Khamzin & Beknur Zhanibekuly take Kazakhstan’s first victory with “Ertegı älemı (Fairy World)”, in Paris at the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest?
