
With a new winner been crowned this week at the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, let’s take a look back at the alumni that they will be joining. Today, it’s the champions from 2006, 2012 and 2018.
2006 – Tolmachevy Sisters “Vesenniy jazz”
Tolmachevy Sisters took victory for Russia at the 2006 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Bucharest, Romania. Tolmachevy Sisters performed “Vesenniy jazz” and finished 25 points ahead of Belarus.
2012 – Anastasiya Petryk “Nebo”
Anastasiya Petryk took victory for Ukraine at the 2012 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Anastasiya performed “Nebo” and finished 35 points ahead of Georgia.
2018 – Roksana Węgiel “Anyone I Want to Be”
Roksana Węgiel took victory for Poland at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Minsk, Belarus. Roksana performed “Anyone I Want to Be” and finished 12 points ahead of France.
