#JESC21: Champions Week – Part 1/6

With a new winner been crowned this week at the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, let’s take a look back at the alumni that they will be joining. Today, it’s the champions from 2003, 2009 and 2015.

2003 – Dino Jelusić “Ti si moja prva ljubav”

Dino Jelusić took victory for Croatia at the inaugural Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen, Denmark. Dino performed “Ti si moja prva ljubav” and finished 9 points ahead of Spain.

2009 – Ralf Mackenbach “Click Clack”

Ralf Mackenbach took victory for The Netherlands at the 2009 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv, Ukraine. Ralf performed “Click Clack” and finished 5 points ahead of Armenia & Russia.

2015 – Destiny Chukunyere “Not My Soul”

Destiny Chukunyere took victory for Malta at the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Sofia, Bulgaria. Destiny performed “Not My Soul” and finished 9 points ahead of Armenia.
