
On the lead up to the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which is been held in Paris, we are looking back at all the countries to have participated in the Contest and their histories – past and present. Today we start Poland’s story.
Poland debuted at the 2003 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Copenhagen, Denmark. Katarzyna Żurawik participated with “Coś mnie nosi”, finishing in 16th and last place, with 3 points.
KWADro represented Poland at the 2004 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Lillehammer, Norway. They participated with “Łap życie”, finishing in 17th and last place, with 3 points.
After a twelve year wait, Poland returned to the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Valletta, Malta. Olivia Wieczorek participated with “Nie zapomnij”, finishing in 11th place and 60 points.
Alicja Rega represented Poland at the 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Tbilisi, Georgia. She participated with “Mój dom”, finishing in 8th place and 138 points.
