On the lead up to the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which is been held in Paris, we are looking back at all the countries to have participated in the Contest and their histories – past and present. Today we continue with Denmark’s story.
Denmark debuted at the 2003 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Copenhagen, Denmark. Anne Gadegaard participated with “Arabiens drøm”, finishing in 5th place and 93 points.
Cool Kids represented Denmark at the 2004 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Lillehammer, Norway. They participated with “Pigen er min”, finishing in 5th place and 116 points.
Nicolai Kielstrup represented Denmark at the 2005 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Hasselt, Belgium – their final participation to date. He participated with “Shake Shake Shake”, finishing in 4th place (their best position) and 121 points.
