
On the lead up to the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which is been held in Paris, we are looking back at all the countries to have participated in the Contest and their histories – past and present. Today we are continuing with Belgium’s story.
Oliver represented Belgium at the 2008 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Limassol, Cyprus. He participated with “Shut Up”, finishing in 11th place and 45 points.
Laura Omloop represented Belgium at the 2009 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Kyiv, Ukraine. She participated with “Zo verliefd (Yodelo)”, finishing in 4th place (their best position) and 113 points.
Jill & Lauren represented Belgium at the 2010 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Minsk, Belarus. They participated with “Get Up!”, finishing in 7th place and 61 points.
Femke represented Belgium at the 2011 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Yerevan, Armenia. She participated with “Een kusje meer”, finishing in 7th place and 64 points.
Fabian represented Belgium at the 2012 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands – their final participation to date. He participated with “Abracadabra”, finishing in 5th place and 72 points.
