
During the duration of the Paralympic Games, which are been held in Tokyo, we will be taking a look at a different Eurovision country each day. Today we are looking at Germany’s best Eurovision entry, after they took Bronze in the Men’s Long Jump T63 Athletics competition.
Germany have made the Final of the Eurovision Song Contest a total of 64 times. In 1982, when the Contest took place in Harrogate, the United Kingdom, Germany achieved their best position to date with a 1st place. Nicole performed “Ein bißchen Frieden” and achieved a total of 161 points.
In 2010, when the Contest took place in Oslo, Norway, Germany achieved another 1st place. Lena performed “Satellite” and achieved a total of 246 points.
