#ESC21: Remembering Montenegro At Eurovision

Over the course of April and May, on the lead up to the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest, we celebrated the countries that participated in this year’s Contest, in Rotterdam. We are now remembering the countries that had previously participated in the Contest – today we remember Montenegro.

Montenegro debuted at the Contest in 2007, in Helsinki, Finland. Stevan Faddy finished in twenty second place in the semi final, with his entry “’Ajde, kroči”, scoring 33 points.

The most successful entry from Montenegro was in 2015, when the Contest took place in Vienna, Austria, Knez finished in thirteenth place, with his entry “Adio”, scoring 44 points.

The most recent Montenegrin entry was in 2019, when the Contest took place in Tel Aviv, Israel. D mol finished in sixteenth place in the semi final, with her entry “Heaven”, scoring 46 points.
