Over the course of April and May, on the lead up to the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest, we celebrated the countries that participated in this year’s Contest, in Rotterdam. We are now remembering the countries that had previously participated in the Contest – today we remember Hungary.
Hungary debuted at the Contest in 1994, in Dublin, Ireland, which was also their most successful entry. Friderika Bayer finished in fourth place, with her entry “Kinek mondjam el vétkeimet?”, scoring 122 points.
The most recent Hungarian entry was in 2019, when the Contest took place in Tel Aviv, Israel. Joci Pápai finished in twelfth place in the semi final, with his entry “Az én apám”, scoring 97 points.
Join us tomorrow, as we remember Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest. Let us know what you think about the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest – either in the comments below or on our FACEBOOK and TWITTER pages.
