Following the cancellation of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest due to the Coronavirus, it was announced that tickets that had already been purchased, would be valid for next year.
After the first refund request window was closed on Friday night, it has been announced by the Dutch media, that only 4% of Ticketholders have lodged a request for a refund. More Ticketholders may lodge a request for refunds in the next refund request period, once the dates for the 2021 Contest have been revealed.
The European Broadcasting Union have also revealed through their FAQ’s, that it is too early to reveal whether more tickets will go on sale for those that missed out, as well as whether it’ll be safe or not to have an audience.
