#JESC20: “Move The World” In Warsaw

During “Eurovision: Europe Shine A Light”, further information was revealed surrounding this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

During the show tonight, Viki Gabor, last year’s winner revealed the logo and slogan for this year’s Contest. The slogan is #MoveTheWorld – and we even have it in Polish, #RuszŚwiatem. The Contest will be on Sunday 29th November, in the Host City of Warsaw. A venue has yet to be confirmed.

Martin Österdahl, the new Junior Eurovision Song Contest Executive Supervisor had the following to say about the Contest’s concept:

“The creative concept behind the slogan is that, as children, we mistakenly believe all important things are done by renowned people: scientists, astronauts, athletes and actors. We want to become them because, in our eyes, they are the ones moving the world. But this is not the case: every day, millions of people around the world perform their day-to-day duties with capability and care. Together, they are the ones really moving the world. This year’s slogan honours the collective power we hold together.”
