NRK, the Norwegian national broadcaster, has announced it’s additional programming in replacement of the cancelled 2020 Eurovision Song Contest.
“Adresse Europa” launches tonight and will be broadcast every Saturday. Rather than previewing this year’s entries, as in previous years, the show will look at classic moments from the history of the Eurovision Song Contest.
On Friday 15th May, a yet to be named show will be broadcast and hosted by the new Norwegian commentator – Marte Stokstad. In May, NRK’s MGP website will open, to allow the public to choose their favourite 2020 Eurovision entries. During the live show, Marte will re-open the vote, for the top entires selected in the original vote. Live music and guests will also feature during the evening.
“Eurovision: Europe Shine A Light” will of course be also broadcasted by NRK on Saturday 16th May – as revealed earlier this week.
