It’s been quite a day here in Tel Aviv! Th first rehearsals are underway for Eurovision 2019 and we’ve seen some truly stunning staging… in both senses of the word!
But how has this affected the betting odds? Once all the countries taking to the stage today had finished, we had a look at the betting odds over at oddschecker.com to see what the bookies have made of today’s proceedings.
Who has gone up in their estimation? Whose staging has left a lot to be desired? Let’s take a look at the position of the countries in the overall odds and how this compares to last week before rehearsals started!
Cyprus – 7th (no change)
Montenegro – 37th (no change)
Finland – 29th (no change)
Poland – 30th (no change)
Slovenia – 16th (no change)
Czechia – 19th (no change)
Hungary – 27th (down 1)
Belarus – 34th (no change)
Serbia – 22nd (up 3)
Very little movement after today’s run-throughs, with only Serbia gaining a higher place than they had before rehearsals, while Hungary have dipped one to make way for this.
Will tomorrow’s rehearsals have a bigger impact on the odds? Guess we’ll have to wait and see!
