#EST: Eesti Laul Semi Final 1 RESULTS #LiveBlog – #JoinUs from 20:30 CET

This is the first semi final of Eesti Laul and the first twelve songs vying for Estonia’s spot at the Eurovision Song Contest this year in Tel-Aviv – you know the drill, join me, Richard from 20:30CET by regularly refreshing the page!

Earlier tonight, the following twelve acts sung to get qualification through to the Eesti Laul final. It is now time to see how they got on!

  • The Swingers, Tanja & Birgit – High Heels In The Neighborhood
  • Marko Kaar – Smile
  • xtra basic & Emily J – Hold Me Close
  • Johanna Eendra – Miks sa teed nii?
  • Stefan – Without You
  • Sandra Nurmsalu – Soovide puu
  • Jennifer Cohen – Little Baby El
  • Sofina Rubina (ft. Janika Tenn) – Deep Water
  • Öed – Öhuloss
  • Victor Crone – Storm
  • Ranele – Supernova
  • INGER – Coming Home

We are LIVE! We start with a recap of the songs, allowing the Estonian public to continue with their public voting.

It is time for the Jury voting.

The Public voting has concluded.

Maarja-Liis Ilus is our interval act tonight – performing the one and only “Keelatud maa”, her entry from the 1997 Eurovision Song Contest.

The four automatic qualifiers making the final are:

  • The Swingers, Tanja & Birgit
  • Stefan
  • Victor Crone
  • INGER

The vote has reopened for the public to pick the remaining two acts.

We are now in the Green Room with some of the acts that could still qualify.

We are now looking ahead to semi final 2 – LIVE this forthcoming Saturday, from 18:00 CET and we will be LIVE with our #LiveBlog.

The two remaining finalists are:

  • Sandra Nurmsalu
  • xtra basic & Emily J – Hold Me Close
