Earlier today, TVR – The Romanian National Broadcaster revealed that they received 126 entries in their quest for next year’s representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel-Aviv.

According to their press release, on Thursday December 20, we will meet the National Selection’s semi-finalists.

Over the next few days, the pre-selection jury will choose at most 24 songs for the next phases of the National Selection.

Musical directors, radio and television professionals and other specialists will listen to the 126 songs registered in the competition and will choose the songs for the National Selection.

The Semi-Finals will take place in January/February, whilst the The National Final will take place in Bucharest, in February.

According to the rumours in the Romanian media, we already can give you some names of the artists that submitted a song for Selectia Nationala 2019:

• Laura Bretan

• Xandra

• Johnny Badulescu

• Claudiu Mirea
