This time next week, we will be only a matter of hours away before we take to the first #LiveBlog of this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Minsk. Eurovision Ireland will be on the ground for their 5th Junior Eurovision Song Contest. So what do we have planned, we hear you cry!
As tradition with our coverage of both the Eurovision Song Contest and Junior Eurovision Song Contest, the #LiveBlog will be up and running from the first rehearsals on the Tuesday, through to the final run through on the Saturday/Sunday.
As with his #RichardReflects series in Lisbon, Richard will be opening up his #MinskJournal on a daily basis to round up the goings on of that particular day.
While outside of the bubble, Richard will capture some culture in a series we like to call #ExploreMinsk – while not necessarily daily, it should give you, our readers a taste of Minsk.
#JuniorMemories will showcase previous Contests and those Countries that no longer participate in the competition.
#PickNMix will showcase the rest of the day’s news from around the Internet – keeping coverage of the Eurovision Song Contest alive, while we are in Minsk for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
The Eurovision Ireland team will share their favourite entries from the history of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in #EIFavourites – expect a diverse selection of songs!
Near the end of the week, we will open up the #HallOfFame, showcasing all the previous winners of the Junior Song Contest.
Minsk won the right to host this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest last October, a month before the Contest took place in Tbilisi. Here is what to expect:
