29th May – 19 Years Ago Today
On this day in 1999, the 44th Eurovision Song Contest took place in the International Convention Center, Jerusalem. Charlotte Nilsson took part for Sweden, becoming their fourth entry to win for her country. Charlotte Nilsson finished with a 17 point margin over her nearest competitor, Selma from Iceland.

29th May – 8 Years Ago Today
On this day in 2010, the 55th Eurovision Song Contest took place in the Telenor Arena, Oslo. Lena took part for Germany, becoming their second entry to win for her country. Lena finished with a 76 point margin over her nearest competitor, maNga from Turkey.
