Is there a return on the cards for the United Kingdom at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest? BTRC, the host broadcaster of the upcoming contest in November, has revealed that a British representative will be present at the Supervisory Meeting next month. Delegations from regular participants Italy, Russia and the Netherlands will also be present.

ITV previously participated for the United Kingdom at the first three contests – with 2004 been the most successful, bringing a second placing. Cory Spedding sang “The Best Is Yet To Come” on that occasion.
It is currently unknown whether the UK representative attending the meeting in Minsk will be from the BBC, ITV, STV or S4C.
