malta-flag-heart

Our friends in Malta are always amongst the most enthusiastic of Eurovision participants. Today the broadcaster PBS revealed the running order for the national final Malta Eurovision Song Contest (MESC) which takes place on Saturday 18 February. As you may know, PBS has dispensed with a semi-final, and cut it down to a sixteen song show.

The running order is:

Klinsmann Coleiro – Laserlight

Raquela Dalli Gonzi – Ray of light

Deborah C & Josef – Tonight

Kevin Borg – Follow

Jade Vella – Seconds away

Crosswalk – So simple

Franklin Calleja – Follow me

Rhiannion – Fearless

Miriana Conte – Don’t look down

Shauna Vassallo – Crazy games

Janice Mangion – Kewkba

Cherton Caruana – Fighting to survive

Maxine Pace – Bombshell

Richard Edwards – You

Brooke Borg – Unstoppable

Claudia Faniello – Breathlessly

You can hear all the songs HERE.

You’ll no doubt spot a few familiar names in the list. Kevin Borg makes his fourth appearance in MESC, and came second in 2013. Richard Edwards is most famously part of Firelight, who did their stuff in 2014 in Copenhagen. Claudia Faniello is back again for another try. She was last here in 2013 and this his her ninth attempt.

Who would you like to see win the Maltese ticket to Kyiv? Do you have a favourite song from the 16?
