Jana Burčeska has been selected to represent Macedonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017. The Macedonian broadcaster MRT opted to choose a participant internally rather than through a selection event.

Jana is known to the Macedonian public after she came 5th in the first edition of “Macedonian Idol”. She has also competed at Skopje Fest in 2012, 2013 and 2015.

The Macedonian entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 will be announced in the coming months.
