In 2015, he became Israel’s Golden Boy by bringing the country back to the Grand Final for the first time since 2010. Now Nadav Guedj has swapped his golden trainers for army boots as he embarks on his National Service!

National Service is mandatory in Israel for both men and women over the age of 18 and usually lasts 2 years. As Nadav turned 18 earlier this month (Belated Happy Birthday from all of us here at Eurovision Ireland! Yom huledet sameakh!) he is now eligible for conscription.
