Michał Szpak from Poland has announced a concert in Ireland. The performer who finished in eighth place at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm is capitalising on his success and visiting Dublin, which gave him 10 televoting points in May. As you may remember, he scored seven points from the Eurovision juries, but 222 from the televoters across Europe and Australia.
Michał sang ‘Color of your life’ (sic) and was a massive pre-Contest hit on Youtube. His heartfelt ballad gained the highest number of viewers on the website, indicating his popularity around Europe and beyond.
On Sunday 27 November, Michał will be performing at the Opium Rooms on Dublin’s Wexford Street.
