It’s time for the First BIG POLL!

No dirty comments but we open the first of our 3 BIG INTERNATIONAL POLLS for Eurovision 2016. All the songs for Semi Final 1 have now been presented and we want to know what 10 songs you think should qualify for the Eurovision Grand Final. Either vote for 1 song or pick 10 – YOU DECIDE! Will they differ from the Betting Odds?

This poll will be open from now until the eve of Semi Final 1. You can select your 10 favourite songs and as the acts begin to promote their songs you may change your mind on how you think they will perform at the contest – so you can vote throughout the season.

We will give you weekly updates on the progress of the songs.

  1. I know he is not playing in this semi-final, but I had to tell that Michal Szpak is definitely my favorite this year !
    Never has a singer touched me so deeply through this competition ! I am so happy to have known him through Eurovision, a contest I have been following for 32 years now.
    I didn’t know him before he took part in the Polish final, and he is truly a musical revelation to me. I have watched many live videos of him, and he is so talented. His voice conveys so much emotion and depth, together with moving orchestral music. He is not just a usual nowadays mainstream pop singer, as far as I have listened to his songs.

    My second favorite is Zoe, with her French song representing… Austria ! English would have been such an easy choice with so many English sung songs in their final, but they haven’t chosen the easy way by choosing a song sung in a language that has been losing much international (and even national, by judging from the French national charts ….) audience through years. Good luck Zoe, you will need some !

    I wish Mishal and Zoe lots of 12 points in May !

  2. My predcition for draw , because draw decide host and reference group
    full of members from western countries many from nordic and SVT producer .SVT like uptempo song
    for opening and close or song with tehnical inovattion
    I semifinal
    1.Russia
    2.San Marino
    3.Croatia ( to try to push out 4 favorite to win)
    4.Hungary
    5.Armenia
    6.Moldova (swedish author, but Moldova is eastern country and not good beting odds)
    7.Greece
    8.Finland (to support neighbour and why we don t have very good song on spot 6 and 7)
    9.The Netherlands (to support western country to go to final)
    10.Azerbaijan (swedish author , but we know that Azerbaijan will go to final, they not need good draw)
    11.Estonia
    12.Czech Republic
    13.Bosnia Herzegovina
    14.Austria
    15.Montenegro
    16.Malta (swedish author and malta have good coneciton with many eurovision delegation , and becuse all that we dont have very good song on spot 13,14,15 and to have nice contrast between Montenegro and Cyprus)
    17.Cyprus (swedish author and contrast to Malta and Iceland)
    18.Iceland (to suport nordic contry to go to final)
