SPAIN : Chart success already for Edurne and ‘Amanecer’ ahead of Eurovision
With the release of the Spanish entry for Eurovision 2015 yesterday – Edurne and her song ‘Amanecer’ have shot into the Spanish iTunes charts at #2.
Not only that but Edurne is outselling Ellie Goulding and her song from ’50 Shades of Grey’ in Spain.
It seems as if Spain has a bigger excitement for the contest this year with local media full behind the project. This is what can happen when you have the local music industry behind your Eurovision entry – not to other countries!
Is this the year for a Spanish win at Eurovision? It has been a long time in the making – 1969 to be exact. What do you think?

I think it should be. Both Spain and Edurne deserve it. It´s a long time since 1969. Last year Austria won after 47 years. Why can´t happen the same to Spain? It´s an excellent song, and a very good singer.
She also has reached the iTunes top 100 in Sweden and Portugal!
