It’s ‘The Sound of Music’ to our ears as ORF (Austrian National Broadcaster) have decided on their selection for Eurovision 2015.
Mirjam Weichselbraun will be the host for the 4 shows that will be used to select their Austrian entry for Eurovision 2015.
February 20th will see 20 Acts showcase their talents. An panel of experts will select 6 acts to advance to the second stage of the selection. On February 27th the selected 6 Acts will showcase their singing and performing prowess. March 6th will see each of the 6 acts premier 2 original songs for Eurovision consideration. These 3 shows will be pre-recorded and the Grand Final will be live. Each of the 6 acts will sing one of their 2 songs in the Grand Final and the winner will be determined by the Public.
- February 20th – Show 1 – 20 acts will perform and a jury will select 6 acts to proceed in the contest
- February 27th – Show 2 – Remaining 6 acts will showcase their singing abilities to the public
- March 6th – Show 3 – The 6 acts will premier 2 original songs each for Eurovision 2015 consideration
- March 13th – Grand final where 6 of the 12 original songs will sing live for the public vote
