Last week saw the sad news that Croatia would not participate at Eurovision 2014 and that Serbia and Bosnia Herzegovina are uncertain as of yet. Besides Macedonia it was looking like there maybe a shortage of Balkan countries in Copenhagen this year.
RTCG, the Montenegrin national broadcaster – has confirmed today to our friends at esctoday.com, that they will compete at Eurovision 2014. They will again revert to an internal selection and rumors have been rife that this will be Sergey Cetkovic.
We here at Eurovision Ireland have spoken to the Head of Press for the Montenegrin Delegation and they have advised that at this moment in time no decision on their representative for the contest has been made.
Sergey Cetkovic is a hugely successful singer in the Balkan region and has made no secret that he would like to participate in the contest. We have profiled this singer already this year and you can read all about him here
Montenegro this year were represented by the amazing Who See Featuring Nina with the party song of Eurovision 2013 “Igranka”.
