Ovi Jacobsen with his singing partner Paula Seling, brought Romania to the Top 3 at Eurovision in 2010 with their song “Playing With Fire”. According to the Romanian website “libertatea.ro”,  Ovi could be on the verge of a comeback to Eurovision in 2014.

The site met with Ovi and he said “Oslo is the first destination in terms of collaboration with these producers (Beyond 51) for the new album. During the next six months, I have arranged sessions with authors from Norway, Sweden, Denmark and two visits to the United States later this year. I’ll be in LA and NY. I have high expectations for the second album, and with my label using Daworks,  I hope to launch several successful singles, not only in Scandinavia but also in Europe and Asia”

With Ovi working and living between Norway and Romania, he has built up many writing collaborations including that of “Beyond 51”. He then went on to say in the interview that “we have worked together and the new piece of music composed by me recently – thinking of Eurovision 2014.”

Could this be potentially be a second return Eurovision singer to next year’s contest in Copenhagen? Might Ovi represent Norway or Romania? That is the dilemma, either way we are excited with the prospect oh having Ovi back at Eurovision.
