We all fell in love with the sweet ballad from Estonia’s Birgit Õigemeel at Eurovision 2013. Well she is back with not ONE but TWO new songs and videos.

Both songs are contrasting to her Eurovision entry “Et Uus Saaks Alguse” and show a Jazzy and Electro-Funky singer.

First song up is “Nii täiuslik see” or for the English speakers “It’s So Perfect”. It is summer written all over it. You know, shoes off and walking in the grass or splashing in the water. With the sweet sweet sounds of the Ukulele  playing, it sounds like the follow-up to Gianluca from Malta’s “Tomorrow”. Either way this one is for enjoying out in the sun with a BBQ.

Now you could not go in a further musical direction than Birgit’s second song that she has released called “Sea of Life”. This is a collaboration with “Violina”. The video has a mini movie quality to it and starts from outer space with a sinister feel. The electro-violins have an “Encore Une Fois” by Sash feel to it. The video sees Brigit being drown into live ( you have to see it to understand).

Even when they make her look possessed – she is still stunning. She is a “Femme Fatale” and reeks havoc on Earth. This is a club track of the highest quality and gets pick of the week from me! You will love this song. Her soft vocals against a hard dance beat work wonderfully. Check it out!

What do you make of the songs? A breath of fresh air that gives Loreen a run for her money on the Dance Anthem monopoly and weird video stakes!
