(RESULT) Melodifestivalen selects the last 2 finalists and they are ……

Melodifestivalen 2013

Tonight 8 songs competed for the final 2 places in the Melodifestivalen Final that will take place next week. With Jedward as the Interval act this was an energetic Semi Final. 

The 8 Songs competing were as follows

1. You – Robin Stjernberg
2. Vi kommer aldrig att förlora – Eric Gadd
3. Hon har inte – Caroline af Ugglas
4. Jalla Dansa Sawa – Behrang Miri
5. Hello Goodbye – Erik Segerstedt & Tone Damli
6. Begging – Anton Ewald
7. Burning Flags – Cookies N Beans
8. In And Out Of Love – Martin Rolinski

All songs performed once and a public vote was taken. The bottom 3 acts were eliminated.

This left 5 acts progressing to round 2 voting were

  • You – Robin Stjernberg
  • Jalla Dansa Sawa – Behrang Miri
  • Hello Goodbye – Erik Segerstedt & Tone Damli
  •  Begging – Anton Ewald
  • In And Out Of Love – Martin Rolinski

Then came Jedward to a huge roar of applause from the Swedish Audience as they dueled Danny and Gina to a rendition of “Lipstick”

Then a second round or televoting took place and 4 acts progressed to the live Duels. The song that came first in the voting will have a sing off with the song that came 4th. Then the song that came second will duel against the 3rd highest scoring song. This led the following duels

Duel 1 – “Jalla Dansa Sawa” – Behrang Miri – VERSUS – “Begging” – Anton Ewald

The winner of this duel and therefore making the final of Melodifestivalen 2013 is

Duel 2 – “You” – Robin Stjernberg – VERSUS – “In And Out Of Love” – Martin Rolinski

The winner of this duel and therefore taking the last place in the Melodifestivalen 2013 final is
