Are T.A.T.U. set to take a Second Bite of the Eurovision Cherry for Russia?

Probably one of the most iconic videos of the new Millennium came from the Russian Duo Tatu and their global hit “All The Things She Said”. They were a global sensation and in 2003 they came so close to winning the Eurovision Song Contest for Russia in one of the closest contests in many a year. 3 points separated the top 3 in the end with Turkey winning their first Eurovision ever.

Well Tatu are reuniting to celebrate the anniversary of their debut album “200km/h in the Wrong Lane”. They will be performing on Romania‘s “The Voice”. This is all to celebrate the re-release of their album that was seen as revolutionary in the pop sphere for it’s time. All you need to know is that they are back!

Now don’t forget that they performed at the Russian Eurovision Song contest in 2009 as one of the interval acts with the Red Army which included a fighter jet and tank on stage.

Then last year half of TATU – the beautiful Julia Kolkova;  perfromed in the Russian national final with Eurovision Winner Dima Bilan, with their song “Back to her Future”. They were runner up to the the wonderful Russian Grannies aka Buranovskiye Babushki and their infectious “Party For Everybody”.

Well… according to our Russian sources, TATU might look at Eurovision again as it holds special memories for them both and it would be a wonderful relaunching platfrom for them.

Could they recreate this Eurovision Magic again?

Would you like to see TATU back at Eurovision next year in Malmo?
