🇱🇦 #ASIA26: Thinla Will Represent Laos In Bangkok

VTE9, the Lao national broadcaster, have announced their act for Eurovision Asia 2026, in Bangkok.

VTE9 has internally selected Thinla to represent Laos, at Eurovision Asia 2026, in Bangkok. Thinla’s entry will be chosen via ‘Sieng Lao: The One’, where she will perform three songs – one of which will be selected for Bangkok. The three songs that Thinla will perform during ‘Sieng Lao: The One’, on Wednesday 23rd September, will be revealed over the coming days. The song that she will perform in Bangkok, will be revealed during the results show, on Thursday 24th September.

Thinla, formerly known as Thinlamphone, is a popular Lao artist who has been releasing music since 2021, putting out over 20 releases on digital platforms since her debut. In that time, she’s captivated listeners with her unique blend of traditional Morlum and contemporary genres, such as pop, R&B and dance. The hybrid-genre sounds she’s created have resonated well with fans; across Laos, Southeast Asia and beyond. The artist recently embarked on a tour of the US, marking a new milestone in her career and driving a huge rise in streams and views from North American audiences.
