Omroep Max, the Dutch national broadcaster, will not take on participation, at the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest, in Burgas.

FOLLOWING on from their earlier idea of the possibility of taking on the Dutch participation, Jan Slagter, the Head of Omroep Max, has confirmed that they will no longer take on the Dutch participation, with the following to say:

“The Contest doesn’t suit us. When I watch it myself, I’m gone after three songs. I think it’s a lot of noise and a terrible racket.”
