🇸🇪 #SWEDEN: Direkt till finalen från Malmö – Part 1/6

For our Summer 2026 feature series, we are celebrating 25 years of Melodifestivalen on tour. We will take a look at the songs that have progressed direct to the final over the past two and a half decades. Today we are looking at the songs that have progressed from Malmö.

2004 – Heat Four

The fourth heat of 2004 took place at the Malmömässan, in Malmö. Lena Philipsson took first place (77,775 votes), with “Det gör ont”, while After Dark took second place (59,860 votes), with “La dolce vita”.

2009 – Heat Four

The fourth heat of 2009 took place at the Malmö Arena, in Malmö. Malena Ernman gained 88,870 votes, with “La Voix”, while Agnes gained 66,740 votes with “Love Love Love” after the round two duels.

2010 – Heat Four

The fourth heat of 2010 took place at the Malmö Arena, in Malmö. Anna Bergendahl took first place (52,838 votes) and qualified after the first round of voting, with “This Is My Life”, while Peter Jöback took second place (61,099 votes) after the second round of voting, with “Hollow”.
