For our Summer 2026 feature series, we are celebrating 25 years of Melodifestivalen on tour. We will take a look at the songs that have progressed direct to the final over the past two and a half decades. Today we are looking at the songs that have progressed from Gothenburg.

2018 – Heat Two

The second heat of 2018 took place at the Scandinavium, in Gothenburg. Samir & Viktor took first place (1,237,063 votes), with “Shuffla”, while Liamoo took second place (1,151,263 votes), with “Last Breath”.

2019 – Heat One

The first heat of 2019 took place at the Scandinavium, in Gothenburg. Wiktoria took first place (90 points), with “Not with Me”, while Mohombi took second place (68 points), with “Hello”.

2020 – Heat Two

The first heat of 2020 took place at the Scandinavium, in Gothenburg. Anna Bergendahl took first place (76 points), with “Kingdom Come”, while Dotter took second place (74 points), with “Bulletproof”.
