CyBC, the Cypriot national broadcaster, have committed to participating in all three of the EBU’s, the European Broadcasting Union’s, music Contests.

CyBC has adopted a new policy that will see Cypriot participation at the Eurovision Song Contest, Junior Eurovision Song Contest and Eurovision Young Musicians. CyBC would join AMPTV of Armenia, TVP of Portugal and RTP of Portugal as one of four broadcasters to participate in all three Contests. Earlier this week in a press release, CyBC had the following to say:

“It is a new policy of CyBC to participate in all three EBU music competitions – Eurovision Song Contest, Junior Eurovision Song Contest and Eurovision Young Musicians – with the aim of giving the opportunity to young people from Cyprus to participate in high-level and international music competitions.”
