
TVR, the Romanian national broadcaster, have confirmed their continued non-participation at the 2026 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Ta’ Qali.
While Romania participated in the first eight Contests between 2003 and 2010, an exact reason for non-participation has not been given. A spokesperson for TVR’s Public Relations department, had the following to say to ESC Spot:
“TVR will not take part in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest this year.”
