CMG, the Chinese national broadcaster, will be the host broadcaster for the second season of ‘Silk Way Star’, which will be filmed next month.

The second season was launched at the fifth Media Innovation Forum in Chongqing, China, where Kazakh singer Rukhiya Baidukenova and Chinese singer Zhang He Sunan performed the official anthem of the Contest. Rukhiya Baidukenova is confirmed as representing Kazakhstan, while Serbia will debut in the Contest and will be represented by Princ. The full participants list will be revealed in due course.
