NRK, the Norwegian national broadcaster, have revealed that Liet International will not be taking place during 2026.

The organisers of Liet International have confirmed to NRK that the Contest will not be held in 2026 – with Tjallien Kalsbeek saying that the organisation is aiming to hold the Contest again in 2027. Liet International is a song contest for minority and regional languages from across Europe.
