France Télévisions, the French national broadcaster, have confirmed participation at the 2026 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

Alexandra Redde, the French Head of Delegation, confirmed the participation news to confirmed to La Chaine 12 Points. France had first refusal to host the Contest, but turned it down for hosting reasons.
