San Marino RTV, the Sammarinese national broadcaster, have confirmed participation, at the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest.
Following their elimination from the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, during the first semi final, Roberto Sergio, Director General of San Marino RTV, had the following to say:
“It’s a shame because it was an extraordinary performance. From my point of view, no songs who qualified was unpredictable and obviously ten countries was better than us. However we are very satisfied because it was an extraordinary experience. Competitions are made to be won and sometimes also to be lost. This time didn’t go well but obviously we will try again.
Tomorrow back at work. Certainly. Media Evolution will resume with the selections for the 2027 edition…We will organise an extraordinary performance because I believe that a country like San Marino, who has a strong international vocation, should continue this journey.”
