RTP, the Portuguese national broadcaster, has commenced The Voice Kids on Sunday night – their national selection for the 2026 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

During the Blind Auditions of The Voice Kids, the singers will perform a cover to impress the judges. The judging panel for The Voice Kids 2026 is formed of Nena, Miguel Cristovinho, Diogo Piçarra and Cuca Roseta. The results of the first episode were:

• Maria Leonor Antunes – All coaches turned – Joined Diogo’s team
• Carolina Rodrigues – Nena, Cristo and Cuca turned – Joined Cuca’s team
• Salvador Rio – All coaches turned – Joined Diogo’s team
• Gabriel Cordeiro – No coaches turned
• Madalena Chaves – Cristo and Cuca turned – Joined Cristo’s team
• Mia Ribeiro – Joined Nena’s team
• Henrique Calado – No coaches turned
• Eva Moreira – Diogo, Nena and Cristo turned – Joined Nena’s team
• Samuel Aguiar – Joined Cristo’s team
• Emilia & Dominika – No coaches turned
• Salomé Pinho – Diogo, Cristo and Nena turned by Nena was ‘Super Blocked’ by Cristo – Joined Diogo’s team
• Mariana Maia – No coaches turned
• Daniela Fontão – Cuca ‘Mega Blocked’ all other coaches – Joined Cuca’s team
