#ESC25: Best Eurovision lyric Part II
As we know, a song can live or die on that killer lyric, and could even rely on a single line in that lyric. We at Eurovision Ireland have had a look through the lyrics of the songs competing in Basel, and picked out what could be that choice line that could make or break a song. Here, we look at the songs in the second semi-final (in draw order).
Australia – Well I’ve got chocolate, vanilla, and lactose free
Montenegro – Their faces are red, patched with sadness
Ireland – All we know is that she saved the world
Latvia – Curses and hexes, never can they ruin me
Armenia – Hittin’ mе, mockin’ me, stabbin’ me, crushin’ me
Austria – I’m drownin’ in my feelings
Greece – Let my parched lips rest anew
Lithuania – A feeling, meant for my eyes only
Malta – I got a secret you should know
Georgia – I do not want other treasurеs
Denmark – I see colours I never saw before
Czechia – Will you be my ride or die?
Luxembourg – If you thought I was fragile like porcelain or more malleable, like polyethylene
Israel – The only song that my piano ever plays
Serbia – Let you be awakened by the scent of memories Finland – I’ll dance with you, evеn a wedding waltz, but naked
Are these the best lines? Should we have picked something else? Tell us what you think.
