RTVSLO, the Slovenian national broadcaster, has confirmed participation at the 2024 Eurovision Young Musicians.

RTVSLO, have confirmed their return to the Contest, after only missing the 2022 edition in Montpellier – debuting in 1994. A spokesperson for RTVSLO had the following to say:

“In 2023, we will start preparations for the Slovenian Eurovision Young Musicians 2024 selection, which is organized by the EBU. The Slovenian representatives in this competition achieve exceptional success, unfortunately, due to financial constraints of RTV Slovenia, we were unable to participate in this competition in 2022.

We will record both selections with a TV camera, (also) offer the semi-final selection as a live webcast and via social media, and will once again target a younger audience.”

RTVSLO have also confirmed a live broadcast of the 2024 Eurovision Young Musicians. The European Broadcasting Union’s TV Experts Group will reveal more about the 2024 edition of the Contest in September or early October.
