Today the Heads of Delegation Meeting for Eurovision 2023 took place in the host city , Liverpool. During the meeting , a special draw was made to determine the running order positions for last year’s winners Ukraine and this year’s host country , UK in the Grand Final on 13th May . Ukraine’s act Tvorchi were drawn to sing at Position 19 while the UK ‘s Mae Muller will have the honour of closing the show at position 26. The last time a host country closed the show was back in 2001 when Denmark’s Rollo and King sang “Never , ever let you go” at the Parken stadium , Copenhagen . They came second ,being beaten to taking a back to back win by Estonia .
What do you think? Do you think UK and Ukraine will do well from those running order positions? Can the UK repeat what Denmark did in 2001 and gain a top 5 result as the host country? Let us know what you think in our comments box below.
