Tonight , Australia has revealed its entry for the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool,UK . The group Voyager have been internally selected to represent the nation with the song “Promise “. Fans may remember their appearance last year at Australia’s National Final “Australia Decides” , where they came second with their song “Dreamer”, winning the public vote , but lost out to Sheldon Riley with his song “Not the Same”. Australia finished 15th in the Grand Final with the majority of their votes coming from the juries.

The band members are self-confessed Eurovision fans . Singer Daniel Estrin said :

“As a long time Eurovision fan , this is the pinnacle-Voyager gets to play the greatest show on earth! Our song , Promise, is made for the Eurovision stage and collectively , we feel it’s one of our best yet . We filmed the music video in both the city of Perth and and beautiful parts of Western Australia to showcase the majestic beauty of our home state. Eurovision , we are coming !!!”

Australia will compete in Semi Final 2 on 11th May . You can see the preview video below :
